With great joy, pride and deep emotion, the 14th Athens International Digital Film Festival (AIDFF) was successfully concluded, reaffirming its role as a cultural institution that for fourteen consecutive years has served cinema, creativity and innovation in the field of contemporary audiovisual art. AIDFF is not merely another film festival. It is a unique, inclusive and multidisciplinary platform of artistic expression, founded on the principles of creative freedom and equal representation of all forms of cinematic art. It is the only festival in Greece that presents the full spectrum of film and digital audiovisual creation, without exclusions or rigid categorizations: fiction, documentary, experimental cinema, video art, animation, dance films, hybrid forms, VR works and projects involving Artificial Intelligence.

With great joy and deep emotion, the curtain fell on the 14th Athens International Digital Film Festival (AIDFF), a cultural institution that for 14 years has celebrated cinematic art, creativity, and innovation. From December 4 to 10, Athens was filled with https://www.koyinta.gr/images, stories, and unforgettable experiences. The festival was hosted at the historic Studio New Star Art Cinema in Amerikis Square and at the Blackbox Theater Cinema in Pedion tou Areos, while parallel screenings took place at Ekpaideftiki Enosi in Syntagma, Studio Theatre in Kypseli, the AXON organization on Patision Street, and Geoterra in Chalandri.

For the 14th consecutive year, the Athens International Digital Film Festival (AIDFF) will take place from December 4 to 10, 2025, hosted at the historic Studio New Star Art Cinema in Amerikis Square and at the Blackbox Theater Cinema in Pedion tou Areos. Parallel screenings will also be held at the Ekpaideutiki Enosi (Syntagma), Studio Theatre in Kypseli, the AXON organization on Patision Avenue, and Geoterra in Chalandri.
This year’s festival will present 120 feature and short films from 30 countries, including 60 premieres. Audiences will enjoy every genre of cinematic art—feature and short fiction films, documentaries, experimental works, video art, animation, and dance films. A strong Greek section highlights works by emerging and established directors, each offering distinct artistic and aesthetic approaches.

The Story of the Panorama – A Journey Through Living Worlds.The 14th Athens International Digital Film Festival (AIDFF) returns dynamically this year, hosting in parallel the 12th International Panorama of Ecological and Scientific Films—an entire program dedicated to environmental awareness, cultural diversity, and scientific exploration. Audiences will have the opportunity to experience a series of exceptional documentaries that illuminate different facets of human experience and our relationship with the world.
